21st Century Literacy includes traditional aspects of literacy and also  includes  digital literacy, critical thinking, reasoning and multicultural awareness. More importantly 21st Century Literacy skills in particular rely on the student’s ability to use technology to collaborate and synthesize with broad sources of information.
